CARE & SHARE FOOD PANTRY

All volunteers will meet at the DC Community Center at 8am. We then work as a team and bag up any loose food items. The host of the food pantry that day will then assign volunteers to different sections of the food line. For example, you could be at the bread station or the frozen meat section. Then at 9am we signal for the cars to start driving into community center parking lot. The cars will come through the line 2 at a time and as they pull up to your section you simply place that food in their cars. This opportunity is great for a seasoned volunteer and or a volunteer that is doing it for the first time.  ​
