At this year’s 15th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, a young man named Shawn stood on stage and shared his story for the very first time.

Just a few months ago, Shawn’s life changed in a single afternoon. One day after school, his parents sat him down and told him they had to leave — and that he couldn’t come with them. Alone, heartbroken, and unsure of what would happen next, Shawn needed someone to step in.

That’s where the H-Town Dream Center came in.

Because of people like you, Shawn found a safe place to live, mentors who believed in him, and a faith that changed his life. He’s now thriving — doing great in school, active in ROTC, training in welding, and dreaming of joining the military.

But that’s not all. Today, Shawn is helping others. He’s met other teens who were rescued after him, and he’s become like a brother — offering support, encouragement, and hope to those walking the same path he once did.

We now have more teens walking through our doors than ever before — each with their own story, their own pain, and their own potential waiting to be restored.
